This is a great game, but it takes a lot of time to actually get good at it without paying. Collecting credits is painfully slow (mostly because of the game's difficulty) and the upgrades take time. However, it is a great game nonetheless and should be held on par with other NAMCO greats.

It would be incredible if the minor issues were fixed. There's a great game in here somewhere. But there's not enough features that warrant playing. Also, it's a little too fast paced and there will occasionally be things in game that are actually impossible to avoid and it makes playing very annoying. Plus, having to use your finger to drag the ship creates a huge blind spot making it much more difficult to see enemies. Not to mention the currency system is way too stingy with giving coins.

One of the best mobile games I've played. Since I was a kid, I always liked Galaga but was terrible at it! But this game I've been able to get good at. I played a few minutes every day for months, slowly getting better weapons, more ships, and more skill. It has been fun and rewarding to slowly unlock more of the game. Very well designed. There can be a lot of ads. My suggestion is to pay a few bucks and buy the Galaga 88 ship. This will remove mandatory ads. Recommended!
